Overview
This ancient mobile game released in 2002 for the handful of ExEn supporting mobile phones was produced by Kaolink and In-Fusio. The ExEn (short for Execution Engine) was an early rival to the more successful J2ME phones. It was the very first Java-based game engine entirely dedicated to mobile devices. It isn't available on Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung or Motorola handsets.
This tiny little Crash Bandicoot game was a sort of tie-in for the then-releasing Game Boy Advance game, Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure (or XS in most of Europe), released earlier the same year.

The game takes you through 16 levels, themed around 4 worlds (each world has 4 levels). There are no checkpoint crates present and dying will take you back to the start of the level.
On the one hand, taking into consideration that it was Crash's first game on a mobile platform, and the time it was released we could say that, at the time being, this game must have been pretty solid and fun, but on the the other hand, it is now as obsolete as hyeroglyphics. I never had the chance to give it a try, so I can't judge it though, the visuals seem polished for such an early mobile game and such a low screen resolution.
