Overview
Crash Twinsanity 3D is a mobile game developed by Kuju Island and published by Vivendi Universal Mobile.
Development
The 2D mobile version of Crash Twinsanity was released in November 2004 simultaneously with the Vivendi game of the same name. That first in genre platform game was chosen by Vodafone Global to be one of its 'hero games' for the end of 2004, and a specific 3D version of the game was developed to accompany the operator's commercial 3G launch.
Kuju used its extensive knowledge of 3D game development on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC to ensure the popular Crash Bandicoot character is brought to life in full 3D glory for the first time on java-enabled handsets that support true 3D graphic rendering. Specifically, upon launch, this has concerned the following Vodafone 3G handsets: Motorola E1000, V980, C980, Nokia 6630, SonyEricsson V800, Sharp 802 SH, 902 SH and Toshiba V902T.
