Overview
Crash Racing was developed by French-based studio, Kaolink, and was published by Vivendi Universal Mobile. It was released in November 2005 to accompany the release of the then-newest mainline entry in the series, Crash Tag Team Racing.
Based on the racing game, Crash Racing provides the unique opportunity to fuse two cars together on the fly to form a super vehicle outfitted with a turret gun to clear the road of all traffic!. Being based on the mainline game, this game features four playable characters from it, including Crash Bandicoot, Dr. Neo Cortex, Nina Cortex and newcomer Pasadena O'Possum and 4 different vehicles, which make a total of 12 combinations when fused. The characters all play the same, the handling differences come with the cars, since they have 3 types of stats: grip, top speed and acceleration. When racing, your car keeps going forward and you can't stop (though you can go faster or slow down). You can pick up pink orbs to collect power-ups.
There are 3 environments in the game, which are Egypt, Castle and Pirate-based. There are only 2 game modes to choose from (Tournament and Single Race).
