Crash N. Burn
Crash N. Burn is an unreleased, quickly produced video game pitch, that was developed by Big Red Button Entertainment, and was revealed in August, 2020, featured in their Vault section, featuring projects from the company's distant past.
The short proof-of-concept was put together by a 12 member group during 8 days of prototyping. The short demo reel was produced in Cryengine 3 in less than two weeks by members from the original Naughty Dog team, including Bob Rafei and Eric Iwasaki, and also, some High Impact Games veterans, who were also former members of Naughty Dog or Insomniac Games.
Some other assets were created for their pitch, including a logo. The number "20", visible in the background of the logo, indicates that this game was presumably planned to be released on Crash's 20th annyversary in 2014. Crash's looks seem to be heavily inspired by Charles Zembillias' original sketches of the titular character, though he did not take part in this project.
