Overview
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D was released on the iPhone and iPod Touch in 2008 and was also ported to various mobile opearating systems (including the N-Gage 2.0, BlackBery, BREW), as well as a Brazilian console, namely the Zeebo (with the hardware rivaling the power of a toaster) the following year. It is not to be confused with Crash Nitro Kart nor its predecessor java game Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart... Whew, real hard work on the creative division's part in terms of titling.
The game offers little to no new content, recycling levels and even vehicles from Crash Tag Team Racing (2005 multiplatform game developed by Radical and distributed by Sierra). The characters sport their Crash of the Titans (2007 beat'em up game developed by Radical and distributed by Sierra) looks, despite their character mugs being takes on the more classic renditions of their appearances. And yet, somehow, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D managed to beceome a best-selling title on the AppStore for a couple of months later on in its lifespan.
There are a few game modes to choose from.
You probably won't play this game on any recent iOS device, as support for this game was dropped altogether with the iOS 11 update. The screenshots for Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D shown here were taken from the iOS version of the game.

An update for the iOS version also brought Polar and Dingodile to the table, most likely to promote the then-releasing Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2, the direct sequel to this game. Sadly, these two were never added to the N-Gage version of the game, which is a shame, since this was the version I played with.
Unfortunately, the game has been made unplayable on devices running iOS 10 and up, so this game is now just part of the history of Crash Bandicoot.
